Glen T. Bleakley Memorial Scholarship Fund

As many of you know, Glen always loved working on cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats. When he returned from his initial training in the Air National Guard, he worked for several car dealerships, NJ State, Ocean County, and Defense Contractors before managing Greyhound of NJ. While employed there he spoke at area high schools to encourage students to further their education as Auto or Diesel Mechanics.

In 2019, we gave a graduate of Barnegat High a scholarship to help pay for vocational school and tools. Several friends and family asked if they could contribute next time. So the following year we established a Go Fund Me. In 2020 and 2021 we were able to award a scholarship to a Barnegat High student and a Southern Regional student. Thanks to you we added a student at Toms River North in 2022 and 2023!
