Hi. My name is Alison and I am fundraising for my Bezzie of nearly 30 yrs, Glen. She was diagnosed with serous endometrial cancer { a very rare and extremely aggressive type } two years ago, and given a few months to live then. Accepted NHS treatment was chemotherapy to attempt to slow progress of the illness, women are not expected to survive this and no effective treatment has been found that the NHS will use. The chemo made her so ill that after 4 of 6 sessions she decided to stop. It took her many months to recover. She and her wife Jan have researched many alternative treatments, which we all feel have prolonged her life to this point. However at her last

Oncology appointment, she given weeks to live.

Last week Glen had a session of ozone therapy. After just one treatment she feels better, is eating better and actually managed a walk with her beloved wife and their dogs. This treatment is expensive, over £300 per session, and they need financial help to carry on.

Glen has many other medical conditions, sarcoidosis, one kidney { having donated the other to her brother many years ago}, chronic pain from a back injury and SVT { a chronic heart condition}. Ozone therapy could help all these issues, but clearly the most serious is her cancer.
