Pilgrimage to Glastonbury Tor

Hi there!

I’m a postie with a passion for writing and the natural world. On the 1st May (Beltane) I am setting out on a solo pilgrimage from Easter Aquorthies Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire, to Glastonbury Tor in Somerset.

Whilst this is very much a personal and spiritual quest, it is also a chance to meet people and reflect on my journey through writing. I want to share my experiences and love of nature with others.

I will be also be raising money for the RSPB and the British Heart Foundation (Royal Mail’s charity of the year) on a separate platform. Whilst raising funds for these charities undoubtedly comes first, any wee contribution to this page - even just the price of a cup of tea - will help make my dream of walking to Glastonbury a reality. It will support not only my actual journey but my creative one too! ️

As I have taken unpaid leave for this 600 plus mile trek, any ‘cup of tea offers’ would be much appreciated, to help cover food and accommodation costs.
