The Promised Land - Glad 1 Relocation Project

Greetings for the new year from Volunteers if the GLAD 1 Relocation Project of Midsayap. We wish to share with you what we have already done with the members of the Bansamoro Young Adult Association (BYAA). A total of 22 houses were already built in partnership with the BYAA and the volunteers. The 7 families pledged to build their own houses with money they raised. Already 2 houses were built. However, we still have a total of 35 houses to construct together since the BYAA raises P 20,000.00 (approx. £300); the family P 1,200.00 (approx. £20) for additional wages to carpenters while volunteers raise P 45,000.00 (approx. £700) for every house. We now start the 23rd house this month after all who promised help will send their donations. 1. Contributions from 20 members at P 500 monthly payments = P 10,000 2. Contribution from 1 house owner as his downpayment P 5,000 3. Contribution from house owner to help pay the carpenters P 1,200 4. Contribution from members without a house P 100 x 35 = P 3,500 In summary: 10,000 + 5,000 + 1,200 + 3,500 = 19,700 + 300 collectibles = P 20,000 This month we hope that the you can help by sending your donation even by instalments for we can add all that we receive to build a house with your help of P 45,000.00 (approx. £700).
