Hi everyone
Below is what Marisa stated on her Facebook page earlier today and it tells the story of this horrible situation best. I just want to let everyone who wants to help have the opportunity. We are trying to get in touch with everyone who wants information or how they can help as quickly as possible. Here is an extremely quick and immediate means of helping this family in their time of need. They will be enduring some big expenses before they have access to funds from the insurance company (which in most cases does not cover everything that is needed).
To all my family and friends: On Thursday my family home caught on fire in the middle of the night. By the grace of God my whole family, including all of our pets, made it out of the blaze safely. Unfortunately, we only made it out with the clothes on our back; the entire contents of our home were destroyed.
I would like to thank everyone- family, friends and strangers, who have reached out to help us- donations, gift cards, furniture, clothing, babysitting, etc etc to help. Your support and genourisity has repeatedly brought my husband and I to tears. Every minute of these last 48 hours Anthony Stefani and I have spent thanking God for each and everyone of you, and tha our family is safe.
I will do my best to return all the calls, emails and texts, but please know that my family and I appreciate it and love you.
We have a very long road ahead (we are in a rental home for about a year while they rebuild), but we will get there!
To those of you who have contacted me asking to donate, my best friend Danielle Wriolie-Margl has graciously offered to oversee it, as we are all still too numb and overwhelmed. Thank you Danielle- you are my angel.
Many many thanks to all of you, and please hug your loved ones a little tighter today because life is precious and can't be replaced.
