Sheldons Kidney Transplant Fund

This is Sheldon; Sheldon has been battling Kidney Failure for the past 3 years. Sheldon is 22 years old and as a 22 year old you don’t think this could ever happen to you. Over the past 3 years Sheldon has been on Hemodialysis every other day for the first 4 months and ever since he has been doing peritoneal dialysis every night for 9 and a half hours.

As many people have already heard the wonderful news, we got the call we have been patiently waiting for!!!! Sheldon has got a kidney donor match and we are now preparing to get the transplant surgery date and are fundraising for the trip and expenses of the Transplant. As of right now we know that Sheldon and I (Allecia) will be flying to London, Ontario fron Saint John, NB and will be staying in the hospital for one week and then staying near by the hospital for 2-3 weeks before we can go home, while his parents (Robert and Donna) will be flying to Edmonton, Alberta from Saint John, NB to donate a kidney as part of the Living  Donor Paired Exchange Program and will have to stay there for 1-2 weeks.
