My name is Gjerson and I am working on my Eagle Scout project. I am making 72 hour emergency preparedness/hurricane kits for Elder Care Services of Tallahassee.
My goal is to make 100 kits for Elder Care Services to hand out through their Meals on Wheels program. In the last few years Tallahassee has been hit by several hurricanes. As a scout I have learned how important it is to "be prepared". I always feel better when I know there is a hurricane coming when my family has our 72 hour emergency kit ready. I want the Elderly in my area to feel prepared for next years hurricane season or any other emergency situation.
