Percy The Kitty's Medical Fund

Last year at Thanksgiving, an adorable stray kitten came to the house of our beloved friends, Shaun and Lisa, and meowed for turkey leftovers. Shaun and Lisa fell in love with him and adopted him shortly afterward. For the past year, Percy Cat has been a beloved companion for both Shaun and Lisa. This is not the first time they have taken in a cat in need and have cared for many strays that became beloved pets over the years. Earlier this week, Shaun and Lisa noticed that Percy Cat was having trouble moving normally. Lisa later found him crouched under the bathroom vanity in pain. Lisa scooped him up and took him straight to the vet despite doctor's orders for her to rest and recover from her own surgery. Although we don't know what happened to big, fluffy Percy outside, the vet found that he had a fractured femoral neck! Although Shaun and Lisa have been going through a challenging time with regards to the health of the humans in the household, they didn't hesitate to get Percy Cat the medical help he needed. Percy Cat had surgery in which the vet removed his femoral head. Percy's already home recovering, but his medical care cost $3,000.
