My name is Michele and I foundered Giving Warmth after working with Sydney's homeless four years ago.
On average $350 is equivalent to 10x Blankets, 12x packets of 100pc Baby wipes, and 11x thermal sleeping floor mats.
Long term goals for Giving Warmth:
1. Expand the core management group of Giving Warmth to facilitate future planning
2. Develop emergency shelter boxes for mothers and children escaping domestic violence.
3. Provide the homeless with secure storage options for their belongings
4. Make sanitary items more readily available for women living on the streets
5. Expand our handout locations to Chatswood, Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and Martin Place.
I believe that, with your support, small organisations like Giving warmth can make a great difference to the quality of life of homeless people in our city.
