Giving Tuesday 2020 - Anti Racism Series Support

StrongHER TogetHER teaches girls to embrace their collective power in the quest for equity.  This year, all of our end-of-year fundraising donations  will be used to support  an ongoing series called YARD (Youth Anti Racism Discussions). The purpose of YARD is to provide a safe, open place for the StrongHER TogetHER girls to talk about racism and along the way, learn how to be the best advocates for one another they can be.

Here are Y.A.R.D activities we will be raising money to support:
- Seed $ for anti racism event/initiative designed by the girls.
- Teaching $ for anti racism materials for distribution, facilitator fees, etc.
- Travel $ for a post-pandemic trip to Montgomery / Salem AL where we will visit the Edumund Pettus Bridge, the Voting Rights Museum, Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Museum and more.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in how girls in our community see one another.  With your support, we can bring confidence to a generation of women who will use their voices to right wrongs and make racial equity a reality.

Any donation over $75 to our Giving Tuesday 2020 fundraising campaign will automatically receive a link to our virtual 2020 Musical Sendoff on Saturday December 12th 7-8:30pm.  The webinar will feature performances from a variety of local musicians.  The $20 admission will be waived and you will receive the link 24 hours prior to the event, .
