Giving Snoopy the gift of Sight

Snoopy was adopted by a family but because he was blind was about to turn him back into the shelter for the same reason. Devore shelter is no place for a special needs dog! Kristal Mackie, the owner and head of Animal Authority Rescue Team (AART) was told he was blind and this was reiterated by the VCA. No one ever mentioned the possibility of corrective procedures and Kristal is heartbroken that she took it at face value that Snoopy would always be blind. Thankfully she had an itch in her mind and did some research. She is crushed that she's allowed him to roam the past three years in darkness, but she is hopeful that good hearted people will band together to restore his sight!

From Kristal, "To watch him see for the first time in at least 5 years will probably be the best moment of my life! I can’t even imagine what he will be thinking when he finally is able to see. And I bet he could find an amazing home, he will be so easily adoptable because he’s such a great dog... but no one ever puts in applications for him. No one wants to take the time to care for a blind dog. "

Please help us help Snoopy, and give him the gift of sight!
