Giving displaced children hope for their future.

Currently today we are surrounded by a wave of refugees who need help in the world through no fault of their own. Following my research  on how Bosnian refugees in Birmingham have integrated successfully into a new community, I am keen to help people in similar situations and therefore I have committed to go to Greece in September as a volunteer to help teach young Syrian refugees, as education can help stabilise their future and help them, to integrate into European society. I am happy  not to receive any salary during my time in Greece and to give up my time to do this , but my purpose in setting up my own fundraising is to cover my flight, my accommodation and living expenses while I am there so I can fully concentrate on teaching the children concerned.

I hope you will view this as a worthwhile cause and will feel able to contribute whatever you can to help, in the knowledge that it is to resource a very basic existence while I give up my time to try and help these people in their time of need.
