Hearts for Homeless

There are many people in my city struggling with not having enough money for clothes, food, water and shelter. What I want to do is help them by giving them the supplies they might need to help them and give them a hope that they are not alone.

I will make backpacks that they can carry with them with water bottles, snack bars, razors, wet wipes, clothing (depending on the season), toiletries, and anything that you think of that could be helpful to be added. In addition to helping them with these things I believe that isn't enough.

I talked about giving them hope. And this is what this is all about. I plan to give them a bible I will go through and highlight some verses to help them that have helped me. I will sit down with them and give them the time the need to talk and just feel treated like the equal they are. I know I have not been through the exact challenges as those I want to help but I know hope and love and truth is something we all need. I do not want to go and just drop off a bag to help people in the short term I want to talk to those who need love and God's help like we all do.  

All in all we are all people with different stories who all need a helping hand in one way or another. To show them that we are loved and never alone which is hard to remember sometimes for all of us.
