Yesterday our dear friends Amie and Will Wagner woke up to a home emergency. The news channels filmed for us all to see the Honeoye Falls rushing with amazing force and beauty. Unfortunately nature's beauty can cause disaster. The Wagner's home in Honeoye Falls was flooded and their home mechanics- including pipes, furnace, electrical work, hot water tank, etc. are in disrepair and insurance will not cover the costs.
Most of you know that Amie and Will spend their free time and life savings to support homeless children, to provide shelter for the street kids in Uganda, and campaign to raise money for fresh water in Africa.
Amie returned this week from spending time with the homeless street kids in Kampala, Uganda. Her life's work in dedicated to her not-for-profit company Uprising, which benefits Saving Grace Ministries in Uganda.
Ironic? The Wagner's home- their shelter is partially destroyed by water. The two fabrics in their life that they work hard to provide for others.
Please consider donating to help Amie and Will cover the costs that they are burdened with. Amie and Will have been and will continue to be, the first to step forward and give to help a stranger in need. #learningtobethelight
