Give Faith a Facelift

Susan Gale once said, "A fresh outlook is like a fresh coat of paint. It doesn't cost much but sometimes it makes a huge difference." If you flip that quote, a fresh coat of paint is like a new outlook. We at Camp ALOMA have gone through a refocused outlook in the past few years and we think it is time our facilities reflect that. Faith Lodge was the first building constructed on camp property and has been in service for about 40 years now. Throughout the years, different rooms have had touchups here and there but there has not been a complete retouch of the paint in many years. Camp has seen many groups come through, bringing many kids with them and camp's exterior is beginning to show it. We believe that by simply redoing the paint, we will be more asthetically appealing and people will look towards our Jesus-focused mission instead of the giant spot of chipping paint on the wall. Like Susan says, it does not cost that much but it can make a huge difference! The only problem is that $2000 is not readily available in camp's budget right now due to the fact that summer camp is our main priority. We would love to give Faith Lodge a facelift but we absolutely cannot do it without your help! Even if you just donate $5, we know that with your help, we will be able to make this dream a reality! This fundraiser is only going through October 24th which is in 4 weeks, so let's get this going!
