Put the TEA in TEAM!

UPDATE: This GoFundMe was created almost a year ago, but we never met our then much smaller goal so it was set aside until this morning when a gifter donated $250 and re-started the campagin! Thank you! Obviously a lot has changed in a year and here we are thanks to so many generous souls with a retail shoppe opening this week, meetings lined up with prominent foster care agencies to discuss partnering to begin impacting aging out youth, an awesome relationship with Sasnak City and blending for Outlander cast members under our belt with more to come in November, complete re-branding in process to reflect the epic journey of ashes to wings we have been on, and so much more. We are humbled and blessed by the community that is rallying around us to bring our social enterprise to life. Where we are currently, our needs, which will be met by this GoFundMe, include the following: - Bulk purchase of tea ingredients and product to stock our shoppe, website and upcoming event table - Balance of our re-branding process - Shoppe rent - Final furnishing of the shoppe - First seed money to begin hiring and paying aging out youth employees All of these are vital to moving forward and have us on a tight timeline as our big event is in a few weeks and our shoppe opens in TWO DAYS! We are a husband-wife team living life in Colorado with two precocious young children.  We had a dream (work for ourselves!), a mission (impact youth aging out of foster care!) and a passion (TEA!) so in January of 2017 we acted on all three and founded Albion Tea Co.  Now, our business is growing and we are ready to expand our reach dramatically.  We are in the midst of a complete re-branding process and will be exclusively creating fandom teas based on epic books!  We are thrilled to bring our innovative tea blending techniques into the worlds of Outlander, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes, Narnia, Jane Austen and more.   We are focused on reaching a point in our business that allows us to begin hiring youth aging out of foster care as employees...the very beginning of a long term mentoring program we are developing that will ultimately culminate in a lavender and tea farm complete with housing for the youth.  A mobile tea truck (tiny home style) is also in the works to help bring these goals to fruition.
