Give Wilson the gift of Sight

Donation protected
We adopted Wilson 2 weeks ago. He was found wandering the streets underweight, his coat over grown, not de-sexed, and without a microchip. It was suspected that Wilson may have been used as a breeding dog. The vets have guessed that Wilson is a mature aged dog however with no knowledge of his life before he was found it is impossible to know exactly how old he is.

Wilson has mature cataracts in both his eyes and is completely blind. He often runs into walls and furniture hitting his poor head hard too often. Wilson is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He never lets his tripping over and running into things get him down, he always recovers quickly wagging his tail and looking for his humans to give him a cuddle and a kiss.

From the moment we laid eyes on Wilson we knew he was meant to come and live with us for the rest of his life, where he would be walked every day, be fed well, groomed regularly, given treats and never have to worry about us leaving him, because he deserves nothing less.

When we take Wilson to the park and he realises there is nothing for him to run into he begins galloping around, so excited  knowing he wont knock his head or trip over on something.

We would love to give Wilson the gift of his sight back, not only so he wont run into things, but also so he can greet other dogs at the park, run around with them like we know he wants to, not get left behind when they are playing together, find his water bowl with ease, and to live a life where he can see the world that he exists in so happily.

We have taken Wilson for his initial appointment for his eyes and have been given the go ahead for the surgery to remove the cataracts. Unfortunately this procedure is an extremely costly one. If you would like to contribute to Wilsons the procedure to give Wilson his sight back we will all be so grateful.

Wilson is such a bright and beautiful boy and he deserves to see the bright and beautiful world he lives in.

Thank you so much.
