Dear Friends ~ Imagine the world in double vision - then imagine the world with clear sight. Help us give the gift of clear sight to Holland.
Our adopted angel love bug was born drug affected & as a result her eye sight impaired with a crossing eye and severe near nearsightedness which interferes with her depth perception ability. She is nearly blind in one eye. Her crossing eye is causing her to see double vision & she is not able to focus properly. This impairment is causing her to constantly fall & as a result often get injured.
Although she has undergone extensive patching & vision blocking treatments for two years, it has not been sufficient to rectify her impairment. The great news is that she is a perfect candidate for corrective eye surgery to mitigate the crossing eye & stop the double vision.
If surgery is not performed imminently, her eye condition will become permanent as she matures into adulthood. Surgery is needed now to prevent long term lifetime vision impairment.
Due to the specialist needed for this corrective surgery the medical insurance is limited for vision care coverage. Your donation will assist in covering medical cost of the surgery, the ongoing corrective care post surgery & the specialty glasses needed for post surgery vision correction.
