Help Save Our Baby Saudo

On June 16th, our beloved pup Saudo was hit by a car. He’s currently in stable condition, resting at home and being kept as comfortable as possible with painkillers and steroids. That night, he got loose from his harness and ran across the street—where the accident happened. We rushed him home and then straight to the hospital. The injuries he sustained will have long-term effects.

The surgery he needs won’t be a permanent fix, but it will allow his wound to heal properly and reduce his pain. Without this surgery, Saudo will have to live in daily pain. If I can’t afford it, I may be faced with the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him—and that’s something I can't imagine, not just for me, but for his sister too. They're inseparable, and even that one day apart at the hospital left her heartbroken. She knew something was wrong.

The reason I got him and his sister was because I was lonely. I know it’s so selfish but I swear I’ve done the best I can and given them the best snacks, lots of doggy walks and cuddles. At the end of the day, I was used to coming home to silence, but when I brought them into my life, that emptiness was filled. Watching them grow from tiny puppies into these wild, funny, and sassy personalities reminded me so much of myself. Through them, I found real happiness. They’ve always been there for me in their own way, and now it’s my turn to be there for them. Losing Saudo wouldn’t feel like losing just one—it would feel like losing both, because they’ve been side by side since the beginning, and I know she feels everything too.

Financially, I’m on my own. My family is also struggling, and I usually don’t like asking for help. But right now, I truly need it. Whether you’re able to donate or simply share this story, your support means everything. No kindness is too small.
