“Lessen Lisa’s Load”

Hi everyone, this is Daulton Scharf. Many of you may know me, my brother Dawson, or my wonderful, loving, caring, and passionate mother, Lisa. You all may know my mom to be a strong, do-it-herself type of woman who, no matter what, will get through anything life throws at her. But sadly, she’s hit a brick wall that even she cant break through. For the past 12 years, my mom has dealt with back problems but has been able to suppress the pain via medication (cortisone shots, chiropractic, etc.) and strong will. However, since November of 2017, my mom has been in the most pain I have ever seen her in. I can’t tell you how many nights she has spent crying and screaming and just begging for the pain to go away. The feeling I would get, when I would watch and listen to my mom in this state, knowing that there was nothing I could do to help her, was horrible. It’s a feeling I wouldn’t even wish on my worst enemy. That’s why I am asking for your help. My mom has finally decided that enough is enough and going to undergo back surgery to rid her of this situation once and for all. The two surgeries, however, are being done in Hudson, Florida, starting April 16th, and we, as a family, do not have the finances to cover airfare, uncovered medical expenses, and other necessary costs that will build up. If you are reading this and you know my mom, you would know that she never asks for help, so I am doing it for her. I can’t bear to see her in this pain anymore. We want our mom to be active in our lives for a very long time. Please, anything you can give is extremely helpful towards my moms voyage to total relief. Thank you.
