️ Peggy Lost Everything in the Kentucky Floods Help Her Find a Safe Place to Call Home ️

Hello, my name is Peggy some people call me Lulu.

I never imagined I’d be in this position, but here I am walking the streets of Kentucky, homeless, hungry, and soaking wet in the rain. I lost everything when the flood hit: my camper, my belongings, and the little bit of peace I had. Now I have nowhere to sleep, nothing to eat, and no money to survive.

Every day I wake up not knowing where I’ll go, what I’ll eat, or if I’ll be safe that night. I’ve tried going to local help offices, but I’ve been turned away. Sometimes I get small snacks from kind people, but it’s not enough. I’m emotionally and mentally exhausted, but I’m still holding on to hope.

That’s why I created this fundraiser to ask for your help in giving me a chance to live again.

Someone was kind enough to offer me a used camper, but the city gave me just two weeks to find land and move it, or they’ll take it away. This is my one shot at getting off the streets and into a safe place. I’m trying to raise money to buy a small piece of land so I can legally park the camper and finally rest without fear.

I’m not asking for luxury just for the basics: a roof over my head, a warm place to sleep, and a little bit of peace. I’ve been through so much, and I’m just trying to survive. I also deal with mental illness, which makes it hard for me to work or stay focused, but I’m doing everything I can to keep going.

If I’m able to raise more than what I need, I will use the rest to help other flood victims here in Kentucky who are still struggling like I am.

You probably heard about me; people keep making fun of me and sharing stories about me on the Internet.

Yes, I'm homeless, but I had a home. My brother kicked me out; it was my home.

Now I sleep wherever I can. I go without food most of the time because I have no money to eat. I was so hungry yesterday. I ran into my sister; she didn't have much but got me a Coke and some snacks. We have a town help office, but they said I'm not allowed in there. Sometimes people put stuff on the sidewalk; I'll sometimes get some things if I can use them. I don't think it's stealing because the help office is free. They shared my video and said it was stealing. Why can't they help me? They are a free help office. I don't have a phone; my sister let me have this to use. I got a camper given to me, but the city said if I didn't get it in two weeks, they were going to take it off. I really need a home. I'm so tired of always being outside; it's so hot today. I don't know where my food is coming from. Nobody in this town wants to help. I can't get a job because my mind doesn't focus right. I am mentally ill, used to get a check but have to keep signing up again. I also used to be on medication that helped me a little. I just got back on medical support but not sure if I still get it. I don't have anything. I don't even have a place to go. Please help me, please.Please thank you. I made this for me Peggy to get help for me.
