Our first 2025 rescue is Miss Peekaboo. She was found by one of our fosters in the middle of a busy road and was taken to safety!

We started a search for her family and after speaking with them, they relinquished custody to WDFR because she definitely needs more than what they were able to provide.

What we know about her: She was born in 2011, is good with other dogs, and is blind and deaf.

She's scheduled for a vet visit next week, and the estimate for shots, heartworm test, senior bloodwork, and antibiotics for kennel cough is about $400 with our discount.
