Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help to give my beloved cat, Ludo, a peaceful and stress-free goodbye at home.

Ludo has been my best friend for the last 16 years. I rescued him as a tiny kitten from a farm when I was 19, and he has been with me through everything—college, countless moves, marriage, children, divorce, and all the ups and downs in between. He’s been my one constant, my goofy, clumsy, orange-and-white shadow, always ready with love and companionship. True to his name (from Labyrinth), he’s a gentle giant with a sweet nature, and he turns into a total social butterfly whenever strangers visit.

Unfortunately, age has caught up with my beloved old man. He’s lost a lot of weight, stopped grooming, and spends most of his time curled up next to the heater, only coming out for the essentials or the occasional snuggle. It’s clear he’s tired, and I want to do right by him by making his passing as comfortable as possible.

I’m hoping to raise funds to cover the cost of in-home euthanasia and aftercare, so Ludo can cross the rainbow bridge peacefully, surrounded by the family that loves him. Any support, whether through donations or sharing this, would mean the world to me and my kids.
