My family and I are heartbroken over the unexpected loss of my mother on Monday, August 11. We’re struggling to find a way to cover her cremation costs as this was her final wishes to be cremated. Our goal is $1500. So far we have 10 donations totaling $550, but we are still short needing $950 more. The expenses are weighing heavily on us, and we want to give her the dignified farewell she deserves. So we are faced with either paying our rent this month or paying for her cremation..Unfortunately, we cannot afford both! I also have temporary custody of my 4 year old granddaughter and we don't want to face eviction. I work 2 jobs and only have the money to pay my bills. My mom didnt have any life insurance or savings. She was disabled towards the end of her life and lived solely on her social security benefits.
