A few years back my mother in law, a traveling nurse and my father in law had to give up one of their younger dogs due to life on the road and having two older dogs. The person they gave him to ended up rehoming him again without telling my in-laws. A few weeks back, the got a devastating call that the dog, Jax was found severely emaciated. Luckily Jax had a microchip that the ASPCA searched and were able to get in touch, my father in law immediately set out from TN to FL to get Jax. The devastating condition of Jax immediately put us all into tears, a Mastiff down to 40 lbs. Jax is only four years old, he now has heartworm and multiple other developing conditions. He deserves a chance at a happy life again. After losing one of their older dogs, my in laws have been at a great financial loss, struggling to keep her alive after pregnancy complications, her untimely death and then the medical care for her two surviving puppies. They now own a house here in TN, they have the land and the love but the rising costs of Jax's medical bills in this economy are just getting too high to do without assistance. Can you help?
