Hello everyone! A few months ago, I was made aware that one of my coworkers has fallen on hard times financially and has been living out of her car. To keep her identity concealed, I will not mention her by name. She is such a hard worker and every day shows up to work with a smile on her face. I had a chance to recently sit down with her and learned a little more about her situation.

She is a mother of an autistic son and unfortunately has recently lost custody of him due to her situation. She has also shared with me that all of her money is going towards paying for auto insurance and her vehicle so that it is not repossessed; therefore, finding a place to live has been challenging. Her goal is to find a place before the year is out so that she can get her son back. Her story has touched my heart deeply, and I have been trying to figure out a way to help her get back to a better place financially and to make her dream of finding a home a reality.

So please, if you are able to donate to this cause, I would greatly appreciate it, and I know she will too. It’s my hope to present her with the funds on Christmas Day.
