<div>I have known Lyle Carrick since I was about two years old and his girlfriend‘s mother became my nanny. The Carrick and McCormack families have always been precious to me and my siblings. And now Lyle needs help. Last Monday he had surgery to remove his voice box which was replaced with an artificial one due to stage four cancer. Thankfully, the cancer had not metastasized. This seems so unfair to a man who has never smoked. His family remains strong in their spiritual strength that he will benefit completely and heal from this disease from the surgery. But he has a long and very expensive road of recovery ahead of him.

<div>As you know, the cost of cancer treatment is generally covered by Medicare. But co-pays on various drugs and especially lodging and travel are not covered. That amounts to hundreds of dollars a week. Out of the love of my heart I am asking you to consider donating whatever you can to help cover these bills for them so that they can concentrate on Lyle‘s healing.
