help get me to Makanalani! (Gift From Heaven)

Hello friends, family, and friends I just haven't met yet! I'm EmmaLee, and I am joyful to have the opportunity to love and be loved by the people and grounds of Makanalani. The funds you would be providing are to support sending me, as an Intern, on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to a captivating non-profit called Makanalani in Hawaii! I will be serving from May 22 to August 14 2024! 

Once you donate, I will start an Instagram page on which I plan to post all the adventures, work, people, and blessings you have enabled me to experience! It's called heaven_in_Kauai, and you can follow along with what you have blessed into fruition!

This beautiful camp in Kauai, Hawaii, is a safe place for hundreds of children to come experience God's heart for them, potentially for the first time, who would otherwise not have the opportunity. It's a sustainably run 130-acre farm surrounded by happy animals, fresh produce, people who joyfully steward it, and incredible scenery, completely free of charge for the kids. This Ministry has stolen my heart, which is why funding, working, and praying is a privilege and an opportunity to see God move.

It reminds me of Mark 10:13-16 which reads, "And they were bringing children to him (Jesus) that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."

It is so evident that the heart of God desires children to come freely. Makanalani Kids is solely funded to give life-changing camps at no charge to youth who would otherwise not have the opportunity. To steward and foster a peaceful, unique environment that removes distraction and whatever stress may be at home so they might grow in love with Christ. The heart is for every guest to come and share memorable, joyful, and life-giving experiences together so that these memories will be held close to their hearts for a lifetime. By funding my ability to get here, you will have given me life-changing experiences and a deeper understanding of how sustainable non-profits are run and time to love and be loved by God in a place far from the noise of life. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of a Gift From Heaven for hundreds of Children and now, because of your selfless giving, myself.
