There is a woman everyone would be lucky to know. She lives every single day of her life like it could be her last. She is one of the most faithful warriors of God I've ever met. She was born with a heart condition that required her to have a heart transplant six years ago. Without that heart, she would have never survived. She wasn't able to walk to the mailbox before that transplant. She was so sick that she was hospitalized at the Mayo clinic until a heart became available. After the transplant she was given another chance to live and she would not squander that opportunity, especially because she wanted to live her best life for her donor who didn't have that option any longer. She worked out daily, did yoga, hiked, walked, and traveled to some of the most beautiful, breathtaking National Parks you've ever seen, with the love of her life by her side. She was the best dogmom to Fletcher dog who unfortunately passed away recently. In October of 2019, her and her husband were doing their annual "National Park trek" and were in California when she fell ill. She had been feeling bad, but this was different and something wasn't right. They headed back early to go to the Mayo clinic where they were seen in the ER and received the gut wrenching news that she had Leukemia. Time stood still. Then she started another battle for life. She had felt these feelings this before, she had been here. Wonder woman arose and she started chemo in preparation for a hopeful life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister. She saw some of the sickest and lowest days during this time, but her sound faith in God was the only thing she gripped to. She would not fail. She regained strength... spent MONTHS away from her husband due to the majority of her treatment also sharing space with a Global Pandemic. She finally heard "Remission" and she could breathe again. Well, until now. During routine bloodwork, it showed the Leukemia is back and it's just too strong... stronger than any medication they can give her. So now, wonder woman weeps. She weeps because her days, no matter how many are numbered. She has received chemo and will be discharged with medication to help give her quality in the days, months, year(s) she has left. Her name is Elise Campbell and she is my friend. Everyone who knows her is heartbroken because we all know if there were more people like her, the world would be a much better place. Her husband Nathan is also an amazing human and no one can imagine the feelings he must feel now too.
This couple has a bucket list. There are parks waiting for them to see. That's why we have created this account. Nathan is the sole breadwinner and already took so much time off work with the initial Leukemia diagnosis. We want to help them check off bucket list items.

If you have means, I humbly ask you consider blessing this family. Help us make Elise's wishes come true.
