Hi, my name is Giancarlo Avendano. The last 48 hours have been a nightmare. My partner and I have recently found that our dog, Benji, has a severe problem with his back. Ben was having trouble sitting up on his own and was barely walking, but when he did walk, he looked like he was in tremendous pain. We took him to the ER, and they took care of him and mentioned that he just hurt his back. He was given an injection and some medicine for the pain, so we were relieved.

But waking up the following day, we noticed that Ben could no longer walk or even stand on his own. His back legs were limp, so we took him to the ER and drove about an hour away from where we live. We found out that Ben has a serious issue and requires an MRI, as well as surgery and other tests. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay for the procedure. We tried applying for credit, but had no luck anywhere.

So, I decided to turn here and keep giving Ben a fighting chance at life. He's only four, he’s a wonderful dog, and we were hoping that our upcoming son would meet him. The 12,000$ would help cover the costs for anesthetic,neurologist, MRI scan, surgery and hospitalization . We are currently expecting a child coming April 18th so money is already tight and he’s part of the family so I’d hate to lose him as a member of our new family.
