With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved aunt. She was truly loved by so many, and her loss has deeply impacted everyone who knew her.

On the morning of her passing, she had prepared to go to dialysis as she did faithfully. Sadly, her port ruptured, and although it seems she tried to make it to the bathroom for help, she didn’t make it out. When I arrived to take her to her appointment, I found her there. In that moment, it was clear how quickly life can change. She had even started cooking breakfast, but by the time I walked in, the water had already boiled out of the pot.

I can only thank God I got there when I did, or her apartment could have caught fire.

This heartbreaking loss was not only sudden but also left us unprepared. We have since learned that her insurance had lapsed, leaving us with the full burden of funeral expenses.
