<div>My name is Amanda nardo, and I’m a single mother working three jobs, just trying to create a safe and stable life for my son. It has been my dream to provide him with a home—somewhere he can feel secure, sleep peacefully in his own bed, and grow up knowing he is loved and protected.

<div>Unfortunately, life has taken unexpected turns. A series of hardships forced us to move from shelter to shelter. Currently, we’re bouncing between hotels and Airbnbs. Every dollar I earn goes immediately toward covering living costs, my son's daycare, his therapy, and his medical bills. I do not receive any government assistance. I carry this weight alone.

<div>Despite the exhaustion, I keep working—I always will—for him. My son is the reason I keep going. He is my purpose, my joy, my everything. Anyone who knows me knows I am not someone who asks for help easily. But pride holds no value when my child is in need.

<div>There are nights I had to sleep in the car when I couldn’t make ends meet. There are days when fast food becomes the only option because there’s no access to a kitchen. All I want is to give my son a better life—to see him with a warm bed, a real home, and healthy meals.

<div>Leaving the city is not an option right now because unfortunately my father is facing deportation- and I would like my son to spend as much time as possible with him.

<div>To make things more difficult, my son’s father has not present. He’s been struggling with his own issues and can't help. even if he wants to, he has health issues.
