Help Alyssa Have Her Baby

My name is Alyssa. I'm 22, single, and having my first baby in April. Some of the finacial support I was counting on has been withdrawn, and now I need help to pay for my prenatal care. I am reaching out to my community - my friends, family, as well as my local birthing community that I have grown to love so deeply - and inviting you all to become part of a story of hope. 

In my wildest dreams, I never thought I'd be here. I've had numerous plans for my life, including many years of travel, music, and indepedance followed by true love and marriage before anything to do with children happened. None of my plans included being a single mom at 22-years-old. None of my plans included the impossible choices I've had to make. With every step I've taken, there has been a new obstical to overcome. I can honestly say this is the hardest thing I've ever done - yet it is just beginning.

Despite all the harships in front of me, I feel so incredibly blessed to have been charged to sail on with this precious cargo, this incredible gift from God. My heart is full. My life has a new purpose, to care for a new life.
