Giulianas intensive feeding therapy

Giuliana was born with gastroschisis, at 2 months had most of her gut removed. She is on TPN daily and has a GJ-tube. At 6 months she was put on ECMO for a week. Because of her history, she has an oral aversion and doesn't eat. We've spent the past 3 years going to weekly OT to help overcome her aversion; she came a long in her first year, but since she hasn't really made much progress. Her GI specialist and I really believe this feeding program will be very good and help her start eating. As her mother I can't wait for the day I see her eating and get her off her broviac and GJ-tube. It's been a long 3 years with constant doctors, specialists, OT/PT and, hospital stays. Because of her broviac anytime she has a fever, we have to go to the ER and stay a minimum of three days. I can't wait for the day this is all over, and I can see my daughter be able to do things a normal child can do without restrictions. I'd love to give her a shower or bath, watch her play in the pool, run around and play without having to worry about her wires. The stress of not having to do her TPN sterile daily, or weekly sterile dressing changes, making sure she doesn't get her dressing wet, and most of all, the fear of an infection in her body from her central line every time she has a fever. The feeding program is about 4 hours from home five days a week for 8 weeks. Her and I would have to move down for the 2 months away from dad and our family. About 25,000 would be covering the program, the rest would be covering housing, transportation, medical supplies and medications.
