Hi everyone,
I am excited to participate in Giving Tuesday, a special global day of giving on December 1st. As you know, one of the projects I have been working on for the past 18 months is supporting the Goldstein Refugee Center in Frankfurt, Germany. I have been doing a weekly book club to help them learn English so they are able to be successful in school.
Due to our second lockdown and the social distancing requirements here in Germany, many of these students don't have a working laptop to be able to keep up with their classes and it is not possible to gather in the offices to share a laptop.
The tech-gap is a global problem right now, and I have joined with my friends and fellow diplomat kids to eliminate that barrier to education for 10 refugee children here this Giving Tuesday.
Your donation will go towards purchasing 10 laptops/notebooks with Internet and Microsoft software so my friends at the Goldstein center can continue their education successfully from home.
Any donation above our goal will be put towards continuing our projects around the world.
