Teaching girls music in Pokhara, Nepal

Kanya Campus is a revolutionary institution in Pokhara, Nepal. It's the first all-girls college in the Western region of Nepal, offering for the first time free education for young women from remote villages and towns. Our goal is to help them start a music program. We took a poll from the students, and acoustic guitar was the instrument that the majority said they'd love to learn.

We are fundraising for 5 guitars, that can live at the school and be used by the students. Universal Love is a charity organization registered in California with a project center in Pokhara. They will also be supplying volunteer staff to teach guitar classes weekly.
