Girls Primary School Renovation Fund
Donation protected
Asslamualiakum and hello all,
This is Waqas A Siddiqui and i am based in Sydney, Australia. I am originally from Peshawar, Pakistan and moved to Australia back in 2017. For last 2-3 years I've been involved in a few charity works focused in education area supporting students from poor background.
I am currently fully financially supporting 7 students with their medical degree under a seperate gofundme drive ( https://gofund.me/e20e90d9)
This project is for a girls school in a remote village of Khyber Agency, KPK Pakistan. The school has about 600+ female students getting primary education. Even though its a government school, there is little to no support from government to rebuild its dilapidated building.
The school was destroyed by Talibans in early 2010's and since then the building was given a temporary covering with some tarp but it also got blown away by harsh weather.
As the student number has grown, there is not enough space in the remaining classrooms. The teachers have no choice but to do makeshift classes in open air. The temperature can go as high as 45 degree C in summers and poor girls stay in that hot weather to quench their thirst for learning.
The aim is to rebuild the school and provide them with proper covering in open area with fans installed plus basic furniture for classrooms.
Please help me in reaching this small target so that we can start building asap.
JazakAllah khair and may God reward you for your donations.
