<div>I am starting this GoFundMe in order to get a vehicle that best suits my disability. I’m currently on my Learners permit, and I am coming close to finishing my required amount of supervised driving hours, therefore I am now saving up for a car, I’m looking at getting either a Toyota Rav 4 or a MG HS Vibe! (pictured).

<div>*The car i get depends on what NDIS thinks of the car and whether or not it’ll actually last me up to 10 years, but my first option for a car is the Toyota Rav 4*

<div>I currently have funding through NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to have hand controls and other modifications that I may need added to my car. I have added some photos of the types of modifications I'll be getting (scroll all the way down to see)

<div>However, NDIS won’t modify the car UNLESS it’s within 5 years of age as my modifications need to last up to 10 years, which means I have to get a brand new car which NDIS will not help me with - only the modifications. And as someone who is unemployed and currently unable to get a job, this is going to be very difficult.

<div>Learning to drive while having a disability isn’t something that everyone has the opportunity to do, depending on the severity of their condition. But I’m so grateful to have been given this opportunity.

<div>Any funds not needed to purchase the car itself, will go towards having the car transferred into my name as well as getting insurance.
