The chill vibe, friendly banter and hardworking businesses contribute to the ethos of the town, and both Mary Hartmann and Todd Leetch epitomize the best of each. Year after year, we trust our children to the guidance and direction of Mary and Todd, who not only teach them to respect the water, but to respect themselves and each other.
Girl in the Curl has been a part of Dana Point for decades, providing much needed stability and relief during difficult times. However, Girl in the Curl now needs us.
Deemed a nonessential business, the Girl in the Curl surf shop has remained closed throughout this pandemic. Beach and parking lot closures as well as social distancing have stopped all surf lessons. The hope of receiving a positive response to any of the SBA loans she has applied for fades with each passing day.
