Hey everyone!! Thank you so much for coming to visit our page! VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!
My best friend Ginny and I are headed to Rural Haiti in March to help GIVE BACK! ♥️
For those of you who don’t know my amazing friend Ginny, I have known her for 27 years! She is a dental assistant with the biggest heart ever!! Ginny and I have been looking for a way of serving together for awhile now and feel this is a great opportunity to share our skills and care for others. I’m very excited to fill the position of Team Leader for this trip!
We will be alongside an amazing team of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and support crew.
•WHAT ARE WE DOING?•
We are providing emergency dental care, restorative treatment, and cleaning to anyone in the community that wants and needs our help. Thanks to HHI (Haiti Health Initiative) they also send teams to help with eye care, health care, clean water, education/building schools, and nutrition.
•WHY ARE WE DOING IT?•
We want to not only help but educate to give Haitians their own tools to better their community and be self-sustaining. We want to get out of our comfort zone, work with some amazing people, and grow our heart even bigger.
•WE NEED YOUR HELP•
This is where YOU and the amazing people around us come in!
We need to raise $5000 between the both of us and this is why:
The travel costs alone are roughly $2000 per person. Then we need to purchase treatment supplies such as dental instruments, disinfectant wipes, gauze, masks, filling material, gloves, cotton rolls, and more. HHI also requires us to have a donation of $500 USD in order to go on the trip which will assist them in their long term goals.
Anything above and beyond this goal of $5000 we would like to give as scholarships to students in Haiti. We’d like to give these scholarships a name #canadacaresHHI

These funds will go a long way in helping make a positive difference to those desperately in need.
