Ginny needs us!

Last night about 10:30 Homeward Bound received a frantic call from one of our fosters.  Our sweet senior Ginny who is almost completely blind bumped into one of the other dogs at her foster home and a fight ensued.  As you can see, Ginny didn't win.  The foster rushed her to the vet with blood going everywhere not knowing the full extent of her injuries. Ginny needs her eye removed as soon as we can raise the funds to pay for it.  She also needs bloodwork, heartworm test and urinalysis. As many of you know, we have struggled with bills this year and all adoption fees and holiday donations have gone to pay down our vet bills, leaving us with very little.  Ginny has been with us over a year after being dumped in a local shelter and in addition needs a dental and her shots when she is well enough.  We don't want Ginny to suffer so are hoping that once again our wonderful supporters will come through and help her get the surgery and medical attention she desperately needs. As always, no amount is too small to donate.  Our sweet girl deserves the best of care so she can get back to being her loving but  cranky self.  If there are any funds left over after Ginny gets everything she needs, the money will be used for Pugs with other medical needs and/or to continue to pay down some vet bills. Prayers are always greatly appreciated and needed.  Ginny sends kisses and thanks for any and all support.
