Ginkgo Organic Gardens Campaign

Ginkgo Organic Gardens is a unique community garden in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.  As part of the NeighborSpace network of community gardens, we use sustainable agricultural practices to grow heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables to provide high quality food to those in need in our community. All of our produce is donated to the Vital Bridges food pantry which serves individuals living with HIV and AIDS.

Through volunteer work days, we provide opportunities for individuals and groups to contribute to our mission of being stewards of the land while serving others. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, we grow and donate a half-ton of fresh produce a year!

Please help us continue to serve our community. Any donation amount is appreciated! Donations will help us maintain the garden by replacing some of our deteriorating raised beds and buying seeds/plants, soil, compost bins, and tools.
