Help Me Tour W/ Blue Lake's IYSO, 2014

This summer, I attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. While there, I was able to audition for the International Youth Symphony Orchestra. Acceptance into this program is based off an audition, an interview, and faculty and counselor evaluation. Approximately 1700 students apply for the 400 available seats. I am excited to announce I received my acceptance letter on August 15th to join the 2014 International Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The International Youth Symphony Orchestra (IYSO) will depart for Europe June 15, 2014, and will return July 10, 2014. We will be visiting France, Germany, and Luxembourg during our travles. There will also be a final concert series in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the week of July 20 -25, 2014.

I need to raise approximately $7000 to attend the IYSO. The tuition costs are $6250 and the remaining difference will cover the required uniform expenses. I'm required to make monthly payments to ensure my place with the orchestra. It's going to be challenging to fund raise while going to college this fall, as well as participating in the Crooked Tree Symphony Orchestra for my 13th and final year, but I feel confident I can successfully accomplish all of this.
