Ginettes' Charity Marathon

Donation protected
In November 2013 our Dad - John, was diagnosed with cancer. He began treatment in Letterkenny Oncology unit in December. He left with the all clear the following February. Unfortunately we are back in that unit again which has meant that my dad has had to make the long walk back down that corridor again.

Anyone who has walked down the corridor  of any oncology unit knows how long that it is. If my Dad and thousands of others can put one foot in front of the other to walk down it, then I can put one foot in front of the other during The Dublin Marathon on October 28th.
I would love if while I was doing that, I was able to raise some funds for Letterkenny Oncology Unit.

Myself and my family would be really grateful if we were able to give something back. Any donation-big or small will be greatly appreciated.

So if you think you would buy me a drink at the end of the marathon, then instead put the money towards this. (Because after 26.2 miles I will be a cheap date and in no need for the extra drinks I
am sure of it!)

Ps. If you do meet John in the meantime, no need to tell him they give out medals for participation. If the man thinks I placed then who am I to argue.
