About GiNCHi Apparel
GiNCHi Apparel was born in the summer of 2016 by pure passion. The co-founders (artists Christina “Lucine” Kaplan and Misha “El Blanco Rabbit” Cariola) began with one intention in mind, to inspire people to follow their heart. Especially as artists, it is difficult to avoid getting messy when we are flowing in our passions, and the last thing we want to do is distract ourselves by worrying about unwelcomed paint stains.

Each article is one-of-a-kind, hand-painted by us, here at GiNCHi

Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire the world to embrace who we are born to be, follow our passions, and participate in the glory of life by wearing GiNCHi Apparel with fearless liberation.

Our Efforts
GiNCHi Apparel is ethically sourced by thrift shops in Australia and the United States and second-hand donations. We believe in the power of Sustainability to support our home, Mother Earth. Upcycling clothes makes a tremendous impact in our efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Every year, a percentage of our profits go to the financial support of a chosen NGO. This year, this sum will go towards Eye Heart U Summer Camp, a summer program for Chicago’s inner city youth.

#ThePerfectImperfection
Our original slogan, The Perfect Imperfection was centered around the principle of acceptance. The founders wanted to approach GiNCHi’s wearers with compassion for a very relatable trigger, self-sabotage. The thoughts, “I am not _____ enough” and “I don’t like _____ about myself” have caused the many internal challenges throughout their lives. So, their mission with this slogan was to remind GiNCHi wearers that the imperfections we see in ourselves are actually perfect just the way they are (even with that giant ketchup stain on your shirt) hence, the stains of paint on the Apparel. Rather than competing with  ourselves over our flaws, let’s embrace #ThePerfectImperfection.

#DoWhatYouLove
The founders’ believe that when we do what we love, we make space for other’s to do what they love, too. This belief, supported by the notion that everyone has a specific prophecy to fulfill in their lifetime. Though, every individual path is unique, they all coincide with one another. How do we know what our prophecy is, you might ask? The answer is quite simple, Do What You Love. Our passions guide us toward our gifts, talents, and skills. Have you ever wondered why time flies when we are in that state of pure enjoyment, or, why we are naturally skillful at a certain project? Our passion explains that coherence as our heart is attracted to those experiences of joy. We are all meant to follow that calling.

#LoveOutLoud
Okay, so you’ve fully accepted and embraced #ThePerfectImperfection, you have been spending time every day to #DoWhatYouLove, now what? The time has come to begin to take your offerings to the next level. To #LoveOutLoud is to participate in the greatest of good. Take your passion, and put it towards an offering of Love that will inspire others to do the same.
