Gina's Full Recovery

On July 11th Gina collapsed at work and was rushed to the emergency room. Through a series of tests the doctors determined that Gina had a massive stroke that affected her mobility on her left side. The effects of the stroke have caused loss of feeling on her left side of the body, the inability to swallow and swelling in her brain. The swelling never went down and on July 21st the doctors will do emergency brain surgery to relieve the swelling. 

Gina’s recovery will be a process and the doctors believe with intensive rehab, Gina may be able to recover all mobility. The doctors believe with intense rehab, Gina may be able to recover all mobility. Gina will need to create new pathways in her brain. She will need to teach herself how to walk, how to swallow, how to live life.

I ask that everyday you speak those words over Gina’s life over Gina’s recovery.

I’m also writing this because Gina will need extensive rehab which will be expensive. In an instant they went from a two income family to a one person income with huge medical bills. Many of you live far from Boston but want to show support to Gina and Seth. This is a great way to help with recovery. Any amount will go towards Gina’s rehab and will ease Seth’s anxiety over finances.

God awesome, God majestic. Energize the limp hands, strengthen the rubbery knees. Tell fearful souls, “Courage! Take heart! God is here, right here, on his way to put things right  And redress all wrongs. He’s on his way! He’ll save you!”
