Reflections form Gina's oldest friends:
The Family and friends of Gina Pace have suffered the tragic loss of a unique, bright ,shining spirit, devoted mother and a loving, loyal friend .
Gina was the most beautiful multitude of glorious contridictions. Irreverent, innocent, wise, too quick to trust, daring, doubtful, mecurial and grounded. She had a unique, deep soul that was unlike anyone else's in the world. The heartache she carried since childhood sometimes made her act in ways that were hard to understand. Gina loved us all despite our trespasses against her, forgave the unforgivable and lived on the earthly plane with a highly sophisticated understanding of the truly spiritual. She was, as her dear friend Luna explained on the KOTO radio spot, a " true Jill of all trades". She could just as easily fix your skin problems as she could tell you what was wrong with your car.
Gina had heartfelt relationships with many people and animals and especially her beloved companion dog Buckwheat, who died with her in the crash. Gina felt most at home in her life when connecting with all forms of natural beauty. It makes perfect sence that she lived surrounded by the glorious mountains of Telluride .
She will be remembered for her beautiful bohemian style and sense of asthetics, her gorgeous laughter and her utter capability to find humor in the darkest moments. Her most notable constant and unwavering commitment was to her daughter, Nastassja. Nastassja was her life line, her joy, her soulmate and her partner in crime. Raising her was her greatest accomplishment.
Nastassja , and husband Rick, will be dealing with the details involved in setting Gina free. Additionally the funds will help pay for the memorial gatherings so that we may all have a place to say goodbye together. Any and all financial offerings would help alleviate the pressure of this additional burden.

In honor of Gina, her beloved family are holding an informal community wide gathering, offering everyone who felt touched by her life, in any way, to share the grief of this loss and the joy of her sweet memory. Gina meant so much to so many.
