Gina Sartorelli Medical Fund

Many of you know  Gina who is one of the sweetest people in the world.  She has been dealt a pretty bad card in life having had multiple brain surgeries after being diagnosed with brain cancer in her early 20's. While most us were getting married and having children Gina was fighting for her life.  Gina was not expected to live longer than 8 years as her tumor was expected to progress.  She spent most of her 20's and 30's waiting to die.  She has had regrowth as well as scar tissue growth to the tumor removal site and has had invasive brain surgery multiple times.  It is amazing that she has survived.  Gina was previously an accountant and prided herself in her career.  She sadly has no longer been able to work in this field for some time.   Medically she is a liability and with the gaps in her employment and some residual effects from her multiple surgeries and diagnosis she has had to seek other avenues of employment, mainly working for medical benefits.  Gina is in chronic pain and has also had back surgery which failed.  She cannot get a much-needed implanted device for pain relief as it is not allowed due to the MRI she is to have every three months on her brain to check for tumor growth for the rest of her life.  She was also recently told that she has to have knee surgery but cannot afford to not work and be out the time needed to recover so she goes on living with chronic pain and is now walking with a limp.  Life has dealt her a raw deal.  She has spent the greater part of her life waiting to die. Thankfully and miraculously she has survived thus far.  Gina is the first person to help any and everyone.  She needs some help and would probably be horrified reading his because of her pride.  If you can find it in your heart to help so she can go on to have surgery, recover and know that there are a lot of people that care I am sure she would be able to breathe easy for the first time in almost 20 years.
