Gina is a loving wonderful mother and young grandmother who always happy and generous. Her beautiful smile lightens a room and her love for life warms the hearts of anyone around her.
On Friday July 10 Gina Bella La Point had an accident at home where a grease fire in the kitchen caught her clothes and hair on fire followed by a full pot of boiling oil over turned onto her beautiful face, chest and arms.
The fire and hot grease completely burned through her skin on her neck, chest and arms and they are undergoing painful surgeries to find living tissue to start the process to grow new skin.
She is just now out of her first of many upcoming surgeries and skin graft procedures.
The surgeries are very painful and lengthy and she will endure many of these procedures during the next few months followed by months of rehabilitation and therapy.
Due to COVID-19 Gina is scared and alone and cannot even have her husband Scott or any loved ones by her side as she cry’s in pain and battles alone.
This injury incident including ambulance rides, in and out of network providers, surgeries, Anesthesiologists, and other specialists, therapists and medications will easily pass tens of thousands of dollars for the family and to top it off, Gina did not have Short-term disability though her work so the family completely lost her income.
