Hello! I am a friend of Renee' Gillson. I am asking for your help. Renee's middle son, Cody, is needing life saving medical procedures.
Cody has Grade III Spondylolisthesis of his cervical spine
(severe cervical instability) and is at risk for paralysis or worse in the case of a trauma/accident.
Monday, September 11, 2017, Cody will be having 4 MRIs and A CT scan to allow the surgeon the ability to map out how he will operate. (also to rule out Chiari Malformation and a few other possibilities)
They are unsure yet of if they will do the surgery from the front or the back. It is also a possibility they will have to go in twice, one from the front and one from the back.
Appointment with the neurosurgeon is on September 19, 2017. At this appointment is when they will schedule the surgery.
The MRIs and CT (with insurance) will cost around $3500. That is just the scans, she wont know the full extent of the cost until surgery details are confirmed.
First, PRAYER!! We are needing prayers for healing, for comfort, and for peace.
Second, financial support to help get the medical bills taken care of so they can focus on taking care of her son.
